New Poetry Website

Hi, it’s me, Tyler D! I hope you had a good week (and Thanksgiving, if you’re an American reader). You might recall, if you’ve read my recent updates, that I’ve been working on something… and now, I think it’s about time I reveal it!

I’d like to introduce Typing DeWords, my new website! Just click the blue link, and you’ll be directed right over!

From now on, Typing DeWords is where I’ll be uploading my poetry (and other forms of creative writing), as well as some original art/photos from time to time. Meanwhile, Tyler DeWriter will continue to host my reviews and analytical content.

Why did I do this, you might ask? Why not keep everything together on one site? Simple: consistency. One thing I’ve noticed about myself is that I tend to flip between writing styles a lot. As such, rather than having so many different content styles competing in the same space, I felt it’d be better to divide them onto different platforms. That way, it’ll be easier to find a proper niche for myself.

My first new poem should be available here, and to commemorate the site’s launch, I’ll be doing daily uploads throughout the next week or so.

As for Tyler DeWriter, now that I have an actual path to follow, that just leaves me with one big obstacle: scheduling. The nature of my job schedule is making this more difficult than I’d hoped, but by the end of the year, I’d like to try and work out a weekly schedule.

Before I wrap up, one final note: this site just recently reached 70 followers! I know I’ve not been very active lately, and I may not be great at communicating things, but I do genuinely appreciate you taking the time to read what I put out.

Whether you’re new here or you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for being so patient with me. If you like my poetry, I hope you’ll consider following Typing DeWords.
